Anyone recognize this hull/boat. From the history I can gather my Dad bought it used in 1979 in Pompono Beach, FL. He said that it was titled as a 1976 26' Custom. It measures 25'10" and the most unique part about the boat is the v-drive.

This windshield was not on the boat when my father owned the boat. When he bought it in FL it was used as a race boat and the name on the side was "Warlock."

Hear are some recent photos and I will post old photos of it.

That boat looks familiar. Where at in MI are, I'm from the Grand Blanc area but i don't think I saw it here.

Don't know what kind of boat it is but I sure like the lines of it.

If you ever think of selling it let me know.

It appears to have either the 427 that was in it, or a 454. I still need to confirm if the motor is ok.

You can see more pics at the following link.

As far as a HIN, There is no title so I am filling for a new one and I will have to pull the paper work and look for he HIN, I believe there is one, but the weird thing is that when my Dad had the title he said it had no manufacture name......only saying "1976 Custom Built"

That looks like it could be a very nice boat. If it were mine I'd definitely restore it. It's certainly in better condition than some i've seen. There will be quite a bit of work to restore it, but I think you'd have a boat to be proud of afterwards.

There's plenty of info on this forum, and lot's of people who'd be willing to give advice when you need it.

    I say go for it,

    Tim B.

    Hi Good n Plenty,
This is really strange,I just saw this same hull with the Warlock Decal on the stern down the street from my house. I'll drive by tomorrow and see what I can find out.
I do remember seeing these hulls back in the 1980's in Miami.
I worked at Cigarette and Midnight Express for awhile and saw alot of different shops where people were making race hulls and sport boats.
If I remember correctly this hull was the predecesssor to the Manta which used a combination of Donzi and Cigarette hull and deck configurations.
I'll post back tomorrow with what I find out.

This is a few years late but I am sure it is a Donzi Hull.

    Yes, old thread.

I wonder what ever came of it.

Nice piece of family history though!
