Before and After Shots. 24ft boat was 350kg overweight with inefficient keel and rig. Not to mention the deck layout!! Al the rigging was in sizes suitable for a 32ft ocean racer from the '70s. We designed a new keel, a small, but efficient rig and took pains to keep everything simple...

The bulb was cast in two parts weighing 40kg each to fit around the hollow aluminium keel. Additional 20kg will be placed inside the foil. Total weigh is 100kg or 220lbs.

Light sportsboat, 18 feet long (5.5m), 300kg, 100kg lead bulb, lots of sail :-)

Small racer/cruiser, 300kg with 100kg lead bulb, very light and fast. The small roof is lifted by gas cylinders to obtain sitting headroom when camping.

We haven't decided the cuddy details yet...
