Would someone be willing to recommend sources of design data and formula for gaff rigs? Thanks.

    gaff rig

There is an "old gaffers association" in the UK.

Alternatively, I am building a 55ft gaff schooner and I am rigging it shortly, I went into it in detail. Maybe I could help on a limited scale. You could also contact me directly if you like.

Dont ask me about top sail setting please.

    gaff rig

I calculated a gaff rig with NBS rules backing up with old books like the dixen / kemp for an 12 meter racing yacht from 1909.
So if you got questions just mail me.
