I bought a used boat, an older one and it's not got any numbers on it and I am working with AGAF here in Arkansas to get my boat registered. Luckily they are working with me and I am not ONCE again being stuck with another purchase that left me screwed. I will post the photos I have in case anyone can help me.

    Welcome to the Forum Mistyeve.

What information is the AGAF looking to get from you?
I guess that they want a model type and a Hull identification number?

Trouble is, I am sure that there were many little firms knocking out ally Jon boats like this, and your builder might not still be in operation, so it will be very difficult to find out who built your boat.

They said if I can find out who may of manufacturers our boat we could get some numbers for it. I am grateful they will and I have my homework to do. I guess as long as it's a company it may work. I will see what turns up. All I know is it's 14 foot.

It looks a bit like the proverbial axe that's had its head replaced once and it's handle replaced three times. That is to say, it sure looks home made to me.

Arkansas should have provisions in their registration process for a trooper inspection and assignment of new numbers, or something like that.
