How'd Chappelle take lines?

    It will be kinda difficult to use that method on a boat tipped on it’s side. He could setup the strings on the side of the hull and reference the tipped angle. He only needs a half shell. I’d still use a laser, but trying to help.

    Dave Dillion in Boats: A Manual for Their Documentation discusses using declivity boards (short boards with the angle of heel and trim) when taking lines of tilted boats.
