Just the basic at this time. @baeckmo has provided me with a detailed description of how to mod my prop. But really the boat needs two smaller outboards, so each can avoid the aerated water in the middle.
Well, needed at build stage, and I knew that. But 42000 for a pair of used 150 Virago's, or 18000 for the 250.

fair enough… a few things to consider for a 250 hp outboard you could actually get a 5-blade prop. Any prop should be less expensive than purchasing two outboard motors. (It seems you already discovered this yourself above :D)

second note is they actually design many of those four blade props for highly Aerated water. (Presumably with cup? I'm not a propeller guy)

third as you know, many of the Hickman style Sea Sleds were fitted with surface piercing props. Many of those, including the one on the Atlantic Challenger 2 (not a sea sled but comparable) were six blade props. They required aerated water just to get on a plane. So, I think without modifying your current set up at all simply looking at a better prop, would probably solve most of your issues, and let you get her up to full throttle.

Also, when heavily loaded the air is a bit of a lubricant for lack of a better term and it allows the prop to spin up to full throttle under load so also helping when you're on a gas motor with less torque and trying to get on plane. (This isn't hard for a sea sled) but it can work to your advantage since you have the aerated water anyway.

    Those numbers....

Years ago, I had an ice shack on the lake and they give you a registration tag and ask you to put 3" numbers on a board and display it on the shack. The shack had a spot and I brought the cardboard, but the marker was mia when I got to the lake, so I put the blank cardboard and the reg tag on tbe shack. They gave me a fine for $180, despite the numbers being in the slot, just not drawn on the shack.

They said the numbers have to be large enough for the officer's shore camera to take a picture of anything unlawful, and still stood by the ticket.

To this day, the only thing I can think of where a co would be watching from shore is a guy taking too many fish. How they'd see that when sitting in the ice shack, I ain't figured out. Anyhow, hope they don't stick you for we gotta see those numbers from our 1 miles spotting scope!

Hopefully not! About half the boats around have numbers so faded they are illegible.

Over on Canada's other coast. On my side it's sweater weather, with a very light drizzle. I may wear gloves today. Maybe not.

Edit: Dopey me. Canada has a third coast on the Arctic Ocean. This picture is the Atlantic Coast of Newfoundland. I'm sure there's ice on the Arctic Ocean today too.

Why is there a giant pile of ice cream in the background?

Well @Darkzillicon , I'll give you a hint: Canada in February. The milk content in that icecream might be zero.

Look! Some kind folks sent me a nice NACA 0024 section. Whatever shall I do with this?

Nothing for now. Stuck in bed with the plague.

So, in case it wasn't obvious, the NACA 0024 section is the leg extension, which will allow me to get Serenity's prop below the bubble field. Which in turn should allow some going fast.

    BlueBell . . . _ _ _ . . . _ _ _

I think I'd be writing up a fierce retorquing schedule after that installation.

Let's see the rest of the hardware, please.
