Usually the plug is destroyed after one pull unless you want to make several molds from the same plug for series production. One mold is good for 25-45 pulls before repair is becoming a headache.

Me, if all else fail and the mold is somehow stuck to the plug, I would use a rubber mallet and give the mold a good whack. Works everytime. The mold at this point is flexible and it is the plug that would most likely be dimpled. I don't care. It will be destroyed anyway. Plugs are useless to store. I don't overdo the plug. It is usually lots of plaster patches and Bondo.

Just an update that both deck and hull released very easy. Especially the hull, I used just one plastic wedge and with a little bit of air and lift it came all out super easy.
