    I assume this is the replica built in 1967, at the Goudy & Steyens Shipyard in East Boothbay, Me., for Rudy Schaefer of the F. & M. Schaefer Brewing Company. A few years later it was sold to Presley Blake, who in 1975 donated it to the US Merchant Marine Academy at King's Point, NY. King's Point presumably kept the vessel for several years (due to tax considerations for donations) before selling it again. I remember hearing about the vessel when it was launched, and then the son of family friends was a mate on it.
