Mercruiser 3.0L 1995 stalls after 1 min

    There were no abnormal sparks after sunset when we were stranded. I’m hoping for a $42 cap and wire fix, fingers crossed

    Very common to have wires get high res when warm. You can measure the cold wire resistance with a digital ohm meter and compare to new. Change one wire at a time so you don't mess up fire order. They are probably not good.
