    Hi,
Could you please tell me which certificates do I need for my outboard and inboard electric engine for boat ?

Do I need class certificates for my electric motor?
If I build a BV class boat, is it okay if my motor has certificates from other classification society?
Do I need certificate for my throttle and other things?

    Hi,
what is the lenght of the boat ? For which purpose should she be certified ? Should it be done under Belgium regulation ?
In general, certificates are always mandatory in technical documentation. You should check directly the compatibility of the certificates at the office of the choosen legal entity.
That established, we should be able to proceed with your last question. In general, the control system itself (commands, instruments, emergency, re-start after emergency, protection, isolation, cooling, batteries, motors, generators, converters, cables). In addition, you will have to check for some of them multiple standards or rule, as such installation should also be compatible with basics AC/DC requirements, for instance.

    Cheers,

Depends on the state. Wisconsin requires anyone born after 1989 to take the safety course (really should be everyone IMO).

Hello, For outboard and inboard electric engines for boats, the specific certification requirements can vary. Generally, electric motors may not require class certificates. It is recommended to consult with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies to determine specific certification needs.

    Thanks
