22 Gallon Bait Tank Platform

    I need to mount a Kodiak 22 Gallon Livewell on my Seaswirl Striper 1850 transom. I`d rather not use the swim platform opting for building or purchasing some type mounting platform to attach to the STBD side transom exterior. Can anyone here provide assistance or guidance on my idea?

    Welcome to the Forum!
    That is going to almost 200 pounds of water, plastic, bait, and hoses when you are done.
    I'd go 'inboard' instead of 'outboard' but I am not a fisher person.
    Do these pictures look right for your situation?

    Well, I love fishing. I'd use the forward edge of the motor box, add two stainless legs, make a pad from coosa.

    Otherwise, not an easy reach, but star side exterior. Build with coosa. Put a coosa cleat on the hull and a coosa platform and two legs in stainless.

    Rough it all in. Glass the panels with 6oz and fair and paint them up..

    Very similar. I`ve decided to use the smaller 14 Gallon round Kodiak and beef up the support brackets. Between that smaller tank and my stock inboard live well. I should be able to keep a scoop of Anchovies alive. Well most of them. I`m truly grateful for everyone's help here!
