this classic wooden boat community seems really tight. Thanks for your input.
Notwithstanding the standard costs of raising a young family - I'm happy to make a commitment to this project, the end result will be worth it. I'll start a new business to cover the costs or something.
I'd rather focus on best build methodology, materials and engine choice.

    Hi Magyarpete,
did you check the two Tahoma boats in the posts #74 and #75?
They are imo very handsome boats which could allow you to pursue your dream of having a classic runabout with legally purchased plans.
    Cheers

    P.S.
No, I have not designed them and am not interested in promoting their sales. :p
Just find them a possibly good solution to what you seem to look for.

    Hi Daiquiri
Narrowed down to a set of plans from ' Classic wooden boat plans'. I think they are Australian but I cant seem to contact them direct to ask re authenticity etc.

By the way my mother is Yugoslav - beautiful part of the world.

Classic Wooden Boat Plans is run by a fellow in Australia, who has no real boat building nor yacht design experience. He's a CAD user that has taken public domain plans, scanned them and down loaded PDF's onto disk, for unsuspecting folks to buy. All of these plans are available free online. Interestingly enough, there are mistakes on these plans, which remain in place (he has no training or experience) and there appears to be some "adjustments" he's made "to ease building effort" of which he also has no experience. So buyer beware.

Not being in the habit of collecting antique designs, I would start with a search. I know then plans in Italian have been online for some time.

Still looking for plans for Riva

I'm hoping that someone on this thread ended up with some good plans. I see Ray Cuda developed plans for a 33' hull. If anyone has access to plans or can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate the help. thanks
