Downeast hull design

Are these original plans or did you modify plans very beautiful boat I am looking for original plans from the Novi cape islander

 

I am looking for these plans if you could please get back to me, do you think they could be modified to be a 23 foot open Skiff with an outboard ?

 

It is possible, but the probability is very low in my opinion. It's better to avoid the risk and don't ruin it, because it will be hard to restore it to the initial form afterwards. My dad was always taking me with him when we were going fishing with the boat and I've seen a lot of models during my life. This passion still persists, and I am using a boat rental miami service when I am in that zone, because the weather is best and I like it a lot.

 

Really anyone truly considering building one of these boats would probably be best served by having a hull laid up and taking it from there. It's a very standard practice, nearly all the builders sell "kits" starting from just the hull bottom, to a hull and top, to any state of full finishing. Typically many details of hull layup are also available.

There are so many molds in Maine and surrounding states surely someone will have what you seek.
