Rebuild, Frankenstein it, or scrap it?

Well, I ended up covering the tunnel cut out from strake to strike with a piece of glassed plywood and the tied it into the hull with glass. She has been in use daily for about 6 months now. Was definitely worth everything I went through to complete it. With my honda 130 hp and 1500 lbs of fish she rides like a dream and runs 35 by GPS loaded. It was one heck of a learning experience. Pretty regularly, someone will stop me at a gas station and ask about it. Boats are just not made with the lines and ride this one has. The only straight lines in or on this boat are the floor that I put in it. The gunners and chine are sloped and rounded just enough to make it easy on the eyes, and very fast in the water. By the way, a huge thank you to all who inputted on this. Your help was greatly appreciated.
