I have been searching to access market data on the yachting industry. Does anyone know of a company or a website which has conducted and posted such indutry research? I am looking for information such as the number of superyachts built and in use, sizes built, sales achieved, number of and breakdown of employees and job type who work on superyachts, what percentage of the boating industry do superyachts comprise, estimates for superyacht builds, estimates for spend etc. just general market information on this industry.

Any leads would be most grateful.

Call or write Superyachts magazine in Florida - if anyone knows of or has such a thing it would be them.

    Mega Yacht Marketing

The Mega business is a closed and very expensive one. There are two main shows of global importance and that is Monaco and Ft Lauderdal. There are some sub-shows like Dubai, but going for big bread you have to book room in Monaco and Ft Lauderdale.
The only leading magazine coming up with usable dat and names od ship & their captains and other very important information is:
    THE YACHT REPORT
    Chief Editor: Martin Redmayne martin@theyachtreport.com
    info@theyachtreport.com
It's a bimonthly publshed magazine full of everything about the Mega's world.
There are of course the glossy's - Boat International, Boote Exclusive, Grandes Esloras......
    Kind regards
