Would consider this stringer system too light for a 23ft?

    Just curious, see picture below.
    Does this stringer system look sufficient for a 23ft deep v boat with v8 sterndrive?

    To me it seems a bit light on compared to other boats I've seen.

    It must have been sufficient, as the boat is still in one piece and it must be at least 30+ years old?
    As Mr E says, please give us some more information about the boat.
    Have you purchased her, or are you still thinking about the prospect of a re-fit job of this magnitude?

    If you are more interested in going boating, rather than re-building a boat to go boating with, then a boat like this might be a better bet?
