    hoytedow Carbon Based Life Form

    It is stripped down. It still has the running lights and the bilge pump. I need to add a rowing station as that is all it will be used for now.
    Of course I might add a small mast, leeboard, rudder and sail.

    It was a fun build and a fun boat. Trying to save weight I didn't layer enough glass and epoxy to the interior hull. 2 years of neglect did the rest. :(
    At least I have a new garden bench. :cool:

    In retrospect, would you have made the interior epoxy/glass the same weight as the exterior?

    No, I would have used lighter weight cloth inside, but I would have covered all surfaces with glass. Where there was glass the wood was okay. Water got through minute cracks in the glass-less epoxy.
