speed boat design

    But that is very lax, don't you think? How can results be compared if it cannot be ensured that the "inputs" are the same in all tests?

    rc testing

    it is only video, i made 20 minutes of testing, but i film only this. later litle water entered and the motor controler go in smoke.

    i see submarining, on following sea and speed greater than froude 1.5, in head sea it do very well, very litle slaming

    i see some submarinig but not broaching efect as i do very sudden ruder turn

    For better sea-keeping I would bend your chine up away from the waterline moving towards the bow, yours seems to stay very straight, it will also increase the deadrise up front.

    This hull is warped botom deadrise stern 10 degres in the midle 15 degre

    Keep in mind the more deadrise you have the softer riding the boat will be, less deadrise in the transom will plane with less horsepower needed but will bang in choppy seas. As you said in a previous post the boat is riding mostly flat water so that should be fine. How far along are you in the design? If you can still change things I would sharpen your deadrise on the transom to 12 or 14 degrees and increase the deadrise as you go foreward. Especially if the boat is to used in a few different areas of operation you may need it.
