You can also keep the wash from entering with a small coaming.

I put 7 degrees drainage slope on my side decks.
And that was with a cabin wall as the combing.
7 degrees matched my fore and aft deck camber.

I'm going to need some creativity getting slope forward. The plank across the top of the ram is dead flat. Just aft of that are left and right lockers though, and those can have turtleback form.

Shim it. I'm sure you're going to epoxy and paint it. Use some cab o sil and epoxy to fill in the small cracks.

My 7 degree side decks are huge, 10"+
    John's won't be so big.

I'd say leave the forward side-decks flat, like the Ram.
You only want slope around the cabin and aft side-decks perhaps.

Transitioning from slope to no-slope... you're the
    carpenter.

The hatch covers aft of the Ram I would think can remain flat because they'll never be horizontal for long.
EDIT: Oops, just found out hatch covers are vertical not horizontal.
At the dock the bow will be low.
While making-way, pitching and wind should keep the Ram and foredeck clear.

    Drawings, sketches, CAD... ?

Are you going to run a rub-rail off the side decks?

Yes, after glass is complete. These components will be completely integrated into the primary structure.

    2 x 8! I thought I was looking at 1 x 4 in those pictures.
I need to pay more attention to the text.

Purpleheart makes a nice, sacrificial rub-rail.
Although, any hardwood would do so long as it's not TOO BIG!
    Lag bolts or studs?

I sure hope your construction grade robustness lightens up in the superstructure.
You're still going to need heavy enough epoxy-fibre to protect from surface impacts.

I certainly seem to be designing and building for extremely rough use and bad conditions.

The heavier she will be, the better she will ride.

Yes, that would be too much of a good thing.

If it rides anything like my pontoon, then you adjust the trim and add some throttle.
