This paper refutes AII's simplistic belief that AGW is like a switch that can be easily turned off....

Climate engineering: Modelling projections oversimplify risks

    Summary:
Climate change is gaining prominence as a political and public priority. But many ambitious climate action plans foresee the use of climate engineering technologies whose risks are insufficiently understood. Researchers now describe how evolving modelling practices are trending towards 'best-case' projections. They warn that over-optimistic expectations of climate engineering may reinforce the inertia with which industry and politics have been addressing decarbonization.

Current threats to our oceans are revealed

A new method of surveying published research, which has highlighted current issues faced by the marine environment, hopes to place scientific knowledge at the heart of policy agendas.

    — By Tania Fitzgeorge-Balfour

Covering two-thirds of our planet, the ocean was once thought to be too big to be threatened by human activity. Scientific evidence now shows that our use and abuse of this environment is having a detrimental effect on marine habitats across the globe.

New research, published in the open-access journal Frontiers in Marine Science details current threats to our coasts and oceans, and potential solutions to these problems, as detailed by the focus of research undertaken by marine scientists over the past ten years.

This is like geese in Minnesota, they knew which fields were protected and would feed right up to the fence line, but would not land in open hunting areas....

Reef manta rays make long-term use of marine-protected areas

Posted on September 2, 2020 in Life Science

Understanding the key areas where migratory species like the reef manta ray like to congregate is crucial for their future conservation. A new study by a team of researchers in Australia tracked movement patterns for a population of Mobula alfredi along the country’s west coast using satellites and photographs. Their data fill in key gaps in what scientists know about how these large marine animals live in the wild.

Changing what we eat could offset years of climate-warming emissions, new analysis finds

Plant protein foods—like lentils, beans, and nuts—can provide vital nutrients using a small fraction of the land required to produce meat and dairy. By shifting to these foods, much of the remaining land could support ecosystems that absorb CO2, according to a new study appearing in the journal Nature Sustainability.

The greatest potential for forest regrowth, and the climate benefits it entails, exists in high- and upper-middle income countries, places where scaling back on land-hungry meat and dairy would have relatively minor impacts on food security.

Vegetation regrowth could remove as much as nine to 16 years of global fossil fuel CO2 emissions, if demand for meat were to drastically plummet in the coming decades along with its massive land requirements. That much CO2 removal would effectively double Earth's rapidly shrinking carbon budget.

Are all AGW folks turning vegan? I prefer acorn browse wild venison anyway. Healthier too.

The here by the AGW mob much mocked Hoyt with his homegrown bananas for food is doing much more against AGW (if such ever exists) than the hypocritical AGW mob does themselves.

So the hypocritical AGW believers mob better start to act upon their so called believes, instead of trying to knock down people who already act upon AGW mob believes, just for reasons that it provides a happy life that doesn't bother others.

They are prolific, delicious, healthy offset to my carnivorous diet and good for trading with the neighbors. I have over 60 plants now.

20200911_172835.jpg Monsoon season is good for the bananas.
My other "green" action is planting peanut ground cover(11 plants so far) a few at a time to replace grass lawn. It does not require mowing. It grows in poor soil, is salt tolerant and requires no fertilizer.

They are vegetarian animals, which makes you an indirect vegetarian, which leaves less of these animals that eat the plants that are taking CO2 out of the air, which makes you actually fight AGW (if such ever exists) by eating those culprits that also produce methane.

Haha, this is funny. Brain farts and hyperventilation all in print. I know sometimes foreigners have trouble with other languages, and I pretty much understand what you're trying to say even though it makes little sense.
