A look at "Anatta", a 217' sloop !

    I am fortunate to see up close some spectacular sailing ships doing a stopover in Nice harbour. Yesterday, it was Anatta, 276' sloop with a giant mast / giant boom that I estimated ~ 85 m (279') / ~ 29 m (95'), the boom in itself could be quasi the hull of a 29 m racing catamaran.
    I took pictures here attached.

    That greenhouse on deck really is ugly....

    Love the winch handles on the mast, I wonder what they are used for.

    I climbed the castle hill to take this picture, that better gives the proportion of the boat with the others and the cars in the fore front :
