I am in the process of ordering tempered glass for my front windshield, which is the main steering position of the boat. Idealy, the glass should be clear, but because the design calls for a black out around the house. I am wondering if I use the light grey tinted 10 mm. instead of clear, if that would cause any visibility issues steering at night ?

Test by wearing sunglasses at night; then decide what is important, design or function..........

Tinted windscreens are banned on cars, that should tell you something.

I have driven a tinted window tour boat at night and it is not pretty.
Do not tint any windows you'd like to use come dark.

Though TSG is available in tinted color, do not fall for the temptation in windshields. Use a visor or a partial curtain. A full width curtain is best when docked. Reduces heat immensely.

All Tempered with fritted black border to be surface glazed, in other words frame less instalations.
