Like most everyone else, I've always liked the idea of seaplanes.

love this plane except for 2 problems. 1. would a large wake from a boat splash in that low sided cockpit.. no 2. would the wife enjoy cruising at 100 knots in the hammock when you forget she is there.

I was concerned about the wake too, but being a seaplane, it is easier to find remote lakes and bays free of other traffic.

As for wifey, not a problem.

Will, we needed cabinets and couldn't get a fair price so I had to do it myself.

It was not my recipe but they were delicious sprinkled with Nestles chocolate chips and strawberries topped with whipped cream.

Thanks but I am no professional. I do try to keep a high standard of workmanship so that my work will endure.
I look forward to seeing your craftsmanship.

20170815_225742.jpg This is the hatchboard I made for my Mariner 19 when I first brought her home. This was my first pyrographic project. I've since taken it up as a profession.

I was astounded to look online and see no one putting art on the central conversation piece at the head of the cockpit, where all the onboard entertainment happens. It's kind of like a boat's version of a fireplace mantle.
