Water jet active stabilizers

    It helps my rather small mind to imagine the "zero speed mode" as damping, like a centreboard dampens roll.
    Completely different than "positive speed mode" where it is all about lift, positive and negative.
    Which brings us to "canards" for roll stabilization.
    Like in the "WaterBike"
    where the midship canard is controlled by the handlebars.
    This creates a very similar scenario to an actual bicycle in terms of balance.

    All SWATH and hydrofoil (and hybrids thereof) control systems control attitude (trim/list/height) in addition to motion damping when underway. Been that way for a very long time.
