It will be good to have your help in my promising project.
Because the Maritime industry is skeptical of innovations and is not welcoming and seldom may search for new innovations, I am hoping that there are members who like to see roomier better performance boats and will be willing to help me find the open minded wiser major manufacturer with whom we can bring the product line and new design developed privately and tested as "Superior Hulls" technologies.
I am the inventor, and there are two of us in the very small private company seeking collaboration with a suitable boats' manufacturing and maritime performance distribution company.

Can you tell us a bit more please Mike about why your hull designs are so superior to everything else currently available?
What is so different about them?
And what type - are they power or sail, or both?

Well, because it is patent pending, there is very little I can share about its special features but research shows that never before my discovery based innovation such concept solution has been patented or successfully developed, but as in the picture I show in my profile on an existing cruiser, it will lift the boat to fly over the water and increase its performance with the add-on technology alone.
We have tested more then 10 commercial benefits, like wider efficient cruising speeds, new top speed, improved directional stability and much improved maneuverabilities just to mention few — and the superior hulls itself is as we claim, a new way for hulls design.
We have tested the invention on Planning Hulls as well as Displacement Hulls, and my prototype is a Flying Sail & Power boat but I have not tested its limitations and benefits for strictly sailing boats, but do not think that traditional sailing boats can benefit as much from the add-on technology.

I think that you have a classic Catch 22 situation here - nobody is going to be too keen on investing in your product unless you tell them a bit more about why it is so special.
Have you patented the hull form itself, or the foil(s) lifting the hull, or both, or ??????
If there are no foils involved, then what is so special about your new hull form, which works for both displacement and planing craft?

Thanks for the link to the old thread David.
Par made some very relevant comments on the first page, and they would probably be equally applicable now to this new thread.
Mike, how did your flying boat progress - did you get it patented ok?
(I must admit that I only managed to get to the bottom of the first page of that thread - there were another 5 pages still to read, but I couldn't muster up the enthusiasm to do so).
Mike mentions his website in his signature, but it is not 'clickable' - Superior Hulls Inc. Canada/Israel http://www.superiorhulls.com/

I guess the flying boats didnt progress too far, as he mentions this :
"Our proposed Nomadic Manufacturing of Flying Boats, by the yet new art of Automatic Comprehension, is yet a futuristic technology we shall start-up in its simple modern manufacturing capabilities already found on the markets, and then, we shal upgrade it as in our business strategy plan."
And this re the superior hulls :
"Superior hulls design, is yet the most advanced hulls development which have been tested on a small as well as large models to be found as highly beneficial in superior preformance with added loading advantage and more internal room offered, as well as segnificantly improved economic and comfort."

There is a lot more info about the Superior Hulls on the 'old' website -
    fastindex http://www.surfins.ca/superiorhullsoldcom/
Including a video showing a boat planing using the special fins, and comparing it to a boat (the same boat?) without the fins.
I can see what appear to be large lifting strakes on the bottom of the hulls - Mike, are these the 'fins', or are they still hidden?

Good summation, I think a good way to promote something is to lay off the superlatives, and give hard numbers that would support the proposition, certainly if you gained a sizeable increment in speed at the same engine rpm, or the same speed at lesser engine rpm, it becomes interesting, especially if there is no detriment to the ride and handling of the boat. A boat merely being elevated somewhat, is of little interest, if it does not increase mileage, because it is generating too much drag through the secret gadget installed, and not going any faster as a result.
