Twin skin sails game changers

    What if:

    To get a brand new Dehler 30 or figaro 3 equiped with twin skin technology.
    Just fun to have twice their propulsion power on a already very fast or fastest yacht.
    Twin skin sails are a game changer.

    Care to provide a source for that twice the power comment?

    Presumably they would have to reef early to mitigate the excess power....

    I can't find basic info on what exactly this "twin skin" means or is.

    Is it two sails so that an airfoil is formed when the down wind side is pulled away by lower pressure?

    I remember some porous sail that was supposed to reduce surface micro-turbulence on both sides and the air leaked would increase flow speed and thus increase power.
