On the outboard maybe your reading over things to fast. I said an out board correct, I asked you if a tunnel was sufficient if not I could use a jet drive I never said not once anything about a stern drive.

Sorry, I was wrong, I wanted to say "jet drive" that I don't know very well what it means. Is it an outboard with a water jet instead of a propeller? I can be wrong, of course, but I don't remember you asking me for an opinion about a tunnel. They have already answered him, on the other hand, that that would take away buoyancy from the boat.
Well, now, my friend, here I end this conversation. Please understand that, for me, this is not the way to work. It is likely, I think not, that you are right but I will not continue.

And I also answered weight displacement as well so I’m not really sure we’re your going with this other than being in a bad mood today.

I'm sure it is. Cheer up and good luck with your project. When you have it defined, if you need some calculation on what you have defined (I do not say to design something myself but to verify what you have designed), I will do it with pleasure and excuse me if my bad mood has bothered you.

And you even admit there are things you don’t understand so I assume we are both human. But hence I ask questions instead of throwing it down and quiting. Hell its just a boat tasnl

    They ain’t changed

    17’
    7’ beam
    4-6” draft
    Freeboard 6-10”
    No sheer completely decked

Nothing has changed since you asked for the final drawing.

It ain’t a ship I’m going offshore in. Most of the water I will be in is less than 2’.

    AFRat,

I'm sorry you're feeling less than supported here on the forum.

I like your ideas. You've engaged some of the most experienced minds here.

There is nothing wrong with your sketches or ideas.

It looks like you need to do some more research.

Can you simply copy one of the boats you like?

    Thanks BlueBell,

It ain’t that it’s just frustrating to say the least and I need to apologize for getting upset to Tansl it was wrong on my part.

The problem here is there are none of these boat in Florida it’s a Texas thing and the builders ain’t about to come off any measurements lol. I’ve been trying to build this thing for 5 years. I fully understand the design and I know it works as I fished on them a few times.

My lack of knowledge on loads and sizing materials and location of frames keeps me locked down.
