Building a leeboard on my 16ft sailing dinghy

    ok, I have a second suggestion! Build two daggerboard slots near the inside edges of your side seats/tanks, then you can remove the centreline structure to leave plenty of space, and use your existing daggerboard in whichever is the leeward slot. It's all so easy as I sit here in my armchair.

    Thank you. This is another good idea but not so effective when a cabin exist in the middle area of the boat and forbites the moves there.
    The Leeboard -s must be hanged from the upper end of the shires through its axle. And it will rise up or going into the sea through a strong rope and a rope stopper.
    That ropes can be easily held while I am sitting at the back seat of the boat.

    I think the twin inboard drop keel would work well, it wouldn't take up much room .
