Is PVA, er PVA?

    OK. I read about that, but then I worried that rubbing it on, as opposed to spraying, would make me scratch away the wax. Thanks. I'll give it a try. Perhaps useful in areas of concern on the mold.

    Yes, and if you apply a streaky coat, as with a brush, it will reflect in the gelcoat. Aaaaah, I wish I was near my compressor!

    A soft cloth sparingly damp is worth a try. Something like flannelette.

    Need a strong constitution to survive long on that regime. I guess pretty much the last stop before the terminus.

    If I don't spray it I've always used a small piece of sponge, just the way I was shown to do it.
