True story: recently in San Francisco an officer had to give up high speed persuit when his Tesla patrol car ran low on power.

Neither the suspect nor the Tesla had been charged.

The officer, on the other hand, is being investigated for reckless discharge of a Tesla.

I think I would have reported I had a flat, and leave it at that.

The eluder wasn't by any chance seen wearing a pink bunny outfit and carrying a drum, were they?

This one looks pink enough to me, and it even might be floating on its drum, but was splashed off by the President when it tried to board his boat . . .

We shall never know what the rabbit would have done if the President hadn't splashed it off, as it finally set fire to the Notre Dame . .

Some live footage when it attacked the King Arthur gang . .

You have to know that in the years since there's been at least one soldier throwing a grenade in actual combat who has counted "One, two, five!" when throwing it.

Also, I had forgotten about the rabbit incident! Thanks. :)

Lucky is the President whose only private issues are that he splashed off a rabbit for its own safety, as he didn't intend to eat it.

Jimmy (born October 1, 1924) might turn out like John McCain, by almost all much appreciated after his dead, but for now he's still going strong at 95 . . :)

Damn, didn't know they were so dangerous, thanks for warning, now we'll better stay out of the swamps, to avoid being seen as a competitor . .

PDF – Louisiana Wildlife News – Volume 3, Issue 5 – September 2008 – page 2 of 4, right side – Wildlife Species Profile – Swamp Rabbit (Sylvilagus aquaticus)

‘‘ . . . Rival males will often engage in aggressive encounters that sometimes become violent enough to kill one of the combatants. When fighting, males will stand on their hind legs and use their teeth and claws to inflict wounds on their opponent. They will also jump from the ground and strike with the sharp claws of the hind feet. . . . ’’

P.S. - Indeed wonderful Discarding Images in post #6769, thanks for posting . . :)

The dog is named Takkie and the cat Siepie in the Jip and Janneke stories.

Here's a Jip and Janneke and Takkie statue at the Waalkade in Zaltbommel in the Netherlands, at the river Waal, on Google Street View at 51°48'53.9"N 5°14'55.1"E, just in front of the local raisable floodwall to not permanent spoil the view, the narrow edges of the plate statue are here to be seen . . .

No joke, there's a highway bridge and a railway bridge in front of the Jip and Janneke and Takkie statue, a potassium hydroxide tanker collided* last night with a pillar of the railway bridge.

( * the linked page contains a short video with a spokesperson in dutch )

Emergency personnel is here shown on the highway bridge, there were no casualties and no leakage, both bridges are reopened for traffic again at the time of this posting.
