Thank you for correcting the link.

I think this is the document I was looking for:

    https://www.f-boat.com/pdf/UsedBoats.pdf

But I recall problems with under engineered folding mechanism on late 90's corsairs, I thought it was the F28 but may be the C28. Dunno, it's been so many years.

Lots of people have crossed oceans on small boats, including trimarans, and made solo passages. That isn't the problem. As I say good crews have brought dodgy boats to port, bad crews have sunk ships. If you want to cross an ocean in a smallish trimaran:

    1. Make sure the boat is seaworthy.
    2. Don't carry more sail than you need to and reduce it further while sleeping.
    3. Other things I haven't thought of.

    Be safe, have fun :)

Thanks for most of the replies !. I have done thousands of miles solo in a mini transat, and was after the purchase of a Corsair F28 just asking if theres anything to make them safer. I will be doing long solo ocean passages, and always pushing to get a bit extra speed, so although cruising it will be fast cruising.

Be a lot safer with a first mate. Not wanting to jinx you, but I did watch the video and saw the boom take a swipe at your noggin.
