    So, again, you cannot answer the question that YOU raised. See the thing about comprehension is there is no need for endless transference of your own inadequacies onto others. Most people would answer the question based upon the citation/claim raised. But if one cannot, there is the dilemma.....dear oh deary me. Such immature and childish behaviour from a simple question, raised by the poster themselves!

    Clearly you are not able to make the leap:
    As no joke was intended, it was a serious question aimed at eliciting a response to the effect of recognising the error in translation - again, comprehension gone way over your head.

    Well bugger me with a prize winning leak. What has a Radio got to do with this - aaahh...see that's where comprehension comes into to play and realising that the direct translate into English with the word Radio is incorrect

    As all this is, is a method of calculating the metacentric height, as called in English (see doesn't take many words to define it - which you appear incapable of doing):

    So, this brings me to the whole point of questioning your reference of Rmt.
    All you are noting is the metacentre and the method to calculate the BM .....and so, how does this help the OP answer the question?

    In order to calculate the weights required, one needs to know what angle the vessel will heel to. But the problem with just the BM or KM, is that the key reference datum is missing.
    Since simply rotating the vessel through an angle Theata is fine, but why does it rotate....well, that's the question...what causes it to rotate and how do we measure it?

    Just quoting Rmt - the metacentre - is insufficient. This does not help to OP.

    So, before replying, please stop your endless transference owing to your inability to answer a claim - one posed by you only - which means you own it and you must answer it, otherwise why quote it?
    Stop your pointless misdirection as another way to deflect from answer said question, and please stop being so immature and childish.
    And please stop your endless wasting of bandwidth and endless desire to post - well anything - in a desperate attempt to appear knowledgeable and even acknowledging later that you know nothing, but cannot resist to post.

    Either you can answer the question or you cannot.

    Very well, you have spent much of your precious time trying to prove my incompetence. Commendable but useless work that only a generous, reasonable and very intelligent man could undertake. Could you now dedicate only part of that precious time to explain the enormous stupidity of post # 2?. Thank you. I have no doubt that your perfect command of the language will allow you to explain what, no doubt, seems silly.

    Actually, I used to think that one should know approximate GM to estimate inclining weights.
    a) first, to decide: do inclining test on water or not. If GM>5m, (ISO12217-1), the test is not accurate.
    b) second, to calculate weight and shift required to heel the boat, say, to 3-4 deg.
    We always do this way...

    I dont know you from a bar of soap and think nothing more beyond that. What I do care about is whether a poster can support their claims, as it is about what you SAY not you as a person - but that requires comprehension. I am admired because you have used a lot of your valuable time trying to refute, despise, each of my statements and for this you have gone line by line, textually line by line, commenting on them, trying to prove my lack of knowledge, technicians and of language, and my ineptitude. To do this you have taken my sentences out of context, the chronological order of them has changed, you have inserted Latin words among your lapidary phrases, you have told us about your travels through paradise islands, in short, you have used all the artillery that you are capable of . It has been an honest, professional, conscientious, thoughtful job, and that admires me. You have taught me that a good text in English should always bear the word YOU, in capital letters and bold.     On the other hand I am surprised that, despite the fact that I have said on multiple occasions that what you advised in your post # 2 was a great stupidity, you have never tried to refute that claim. Why?
