16' deep V center console build

    Mr E, I appreciate you comments re bow flare and will take them under advisement.
    We fish out of open boats here year round, though you do have to pick your days. Right now I fish out of a 16' Hourston, a 19' Hourston, and a 16' Fisher.
    Hourstons, Double Eagles, Whalers and Trophys probably make up at least half of all the fishing day boats to be seen locally. The big thing is just to get protection from the wind while running, for which a console and windscreen work well.

    Keith O, thanks for the link. I'm familiar with that design and with Glen-L in general, having built from their plans in the past.
    This is more about trying out an idea than it is about just having a boat. I'm also trying to keep my skills fresh now that I'm doing more wrenching than layup.
