Simple multi chine catamaran

Seriously, If someone designed a simple multi chine hull with a similar interior and basic characteristics of a Pajot 44 - 50 in Aluminum, i'd be in. Today.
Ive built 3 boats in my lifetime and now I'm only 3 years away from retiring. Simple plan, table of offsets, I'm good to go. I'll figure out the rest as I go. Its not that hard.

Any designers want a guinea pig?

 

You could perhaps have a chat with Richard Woods (who is on this forum) and see if he might be keen on adapting one of his larger round bilge designs to multi-chine aluminium?
Or one of his larger single chine plywood designs like Ondina?

I think you need to consider whether the goal is to go cruising or to build a boat. It will take you over a decade to finish it, unless you hire a crew with a shed big enough to house it. A professional boatbuilder should take a year or so. A young man may build it in less time, but we all slow down as we get older.

Peter Kerr/Lizard yachts, Mumby & Fitzgibbon very simple- probably cheap to buy too.
