Removable Keel...

    Hallo John, For what it is worth, I made a stainless steel folding up/remove keel, which is held at 3 points, and is removable and also can be left while trailing the boat. However have you ever considered the Dutch way for flat bottom yachts with 1 or two side blades which is dropped into water when needed to avoid drifting. The shape does not necessary to be the same.
