Jboat and gunboat owner would disagree with you, considering he was there for the sparks first test, on board... and the design is not that old. Mid 2000’s
    One of last

If the Spark fits your desires have a go, I am sure it will be all the boat Newick envisioned as long as you don't mess with his design and meet the weight goals. Just don't expect the boat to do something it was not designed to do.

I am curious, does the Newick estate sell plans or did you find them on the sh market?

Rwatson is not trolling you. He asked a legitimate question. You obviously have no ideea what the answer is so the normal thing to do would have been to admit it. Newick used this rig and you can trust him blindly on it if you want to, but that is not going to make the question disappear. If you really build the boat you will hear no end of it, so better prepare an answer. Maybe if you research the rig you will have a better understanding of what the boat was designed for.

That convo is over, he’s asking questions he knows the answer to.

I can get you in touch with any plans you like from Newick if your serious about buying a set now.
The only one not avail. Is creative

I’m totally in love with echo2
But to big and complicated build for me. The spark will make my brain bleed enough I’m sure. None of his designs are easy to build.

I spent the last weeks looking at plans, nothing jumped out at me like this spark.

I was hoping to find a plan I missed
So stage 1.1.7 is over! Haha

    I’m buying the spark plans.
Thank for all the links to new designs
(Less the kirt Hughes suggestion, which I’ve looked at allot)!

Kurt and I are talking about some building methods mods when he’s not air-born.

    Again Thxs

    New Spark,
I think the spark is a good choice. free standing mast with wishbone boom is a winner.
somewhere on this forum is a post from a guy who owns a white wings. he said he took the mizzen mast off & it sailed better - so he never put it back.
Have you had a look at harryproa ?
I'm sure you could easily talk Rob into stretching the E25. The removable pod is brilliant. easy, clean, quick construction & fast
Or maybe the 40' - nothing online atm ?, but cajoling can speed things up. ;)
    good luck.

    Very cool Design E25
    Camping pod is cool to.
Different use, the Newick offers a
Small sheltered area down below, in bad weather
    The E25 doesn’t, big deal
    For longer range boat.

I could easily see the E25 as a great Bahamas Camping boat.
Disclaimer: I know nothing about proas’
I just like the concept for a minimal camping boat.

NS, are aware of or did you look at intelligent infusion ?
Whatever boat you build, this method will speed up your build a LOT,
and you will not be covered in sticky or subjected to thousands of hours of fairing & sanding.
It has a lot going for it.

You should give some consideration to using the foil system now used by Maserati, Gitana 17, Macif, Macif jr(24' test boat), and soon by Sodebo and the new Banque Pop. The foil system is proven fast especially in rough water but would need the help of an NA like Prevost, Verdier or Martin Fischer to effectively convert an existing design.
    You said fast! Good Luck!
