My SS fresh water tank has a slight leak along a weld on the bottom edge. Do you think a cement wash would seal it? I can’t get to the inside of the tank to clean it and I’m not sure if a cement wash will adhere to stainless steel.

I'm not sure what a "cement wash" is. Can someone elaborate? Is that a polymer interior.coating?

Better to take out the tank and get it re welded. Cement might stop the leak for a bit but it would flake off later and make a proper repair more difficult.

    That’s what I thought.
Just wondered if anyone had tried it and found it worked.
    Thanks

Does the tank have baffles, or not ? If it doesn't, you might be able to put a liner inside it.

It has baffles and no access door so not possible to put in a liner

If it just a small leak, you can use JB Weld Waterweld epoxy.
