1972 StarCraft 18' SS transom replacement

    Newby here! I removed all screws, bolts, nuts, drain tubes, etc. for replacing The transom with new marine grade 3/4 plywood. I can't get the transom out. Any ideas? thumbnail_20190517_153249_resized.jpg

    Is it sandwiched between two pieces of aluminium ?

    Thank you for the replies. I am replacing the transom because it is warped also, it's 47 years old. I got it out in one piece. I used WD-40 where it was bolted up between the aluminum. A little prying on each end and she popped free. It was wedged in tight from all the swelling from water. I also replaced the floor with new plywood and sealed all edges and both sides. Next I will cut out the new transom, it will also be sealed before re-installing. This is on a 1972 StarCraft 18' SS aluminum hull.
