I guess maybe this is sort of off coarse but I just wanted to share an idea for a canoe I came up with about 18 years ago when I saw my son floating in the swimming pool in a barrel that had been cut in half. I originally used untreated wood ribs to hold it together but are now rotten so I am replacing them with flattened pvc pipe when I get it all put together I will weld up the seams with a plastic welder.
I will say this little boat is tougher than a $2 steak and has been dragged around on many gravel bars and is still in great shape other than the ribs. Here is the first video of my upgrade. I'm working to make the second video, coming soon I hope.

Thanks for watching, hope you enjoy. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Good day and God bless.
