too much weight for my solar powered pontoon styled boat

    If you look at the diagram, at 20 degrees of heeling, one hull would be out of the water. That means that the other hull would completely submerge and the interior of the boat flood. Stability calculations need to take reserve buoyancy and flooding into account too.
