Unraveling the origin mysteries of my cat

    Hi All,

    Im trying to determine some history on my cat, Im hoping someone here can help me.

    It is a Simpson Cloud 10. built circa 1990.
    It has had rear hulls extended with internal rudders and skegs. It also looks like it has had bow extensions added which fits over the existing hull.
    There is some conjecture that it is an x charter boat from the Whitsundays.
    Also, we have a theory that it might have been a cloud 9 then used as a mold to create
    10's. We also think its factory built.
    Its also unusual in that it has a cantilever mast with a mainsail furler system

    We think it spend the last decade or so in the Harvey bay area

    Any help is appreciated

    Maybe send some pics and details to the Urangan and Tin Can Bay marinas, they may know who owned it, if it was in that area, and moored there, but it is possible they might decline to tell, Privacy Act and all that.
