Just found this painting of Suhaili (1923 Atkin Eric design) when tracking down the source(Swiss/German link) of the below magnificent interview with Sir Robin Knox-Johnston aboard Suhaili in May 2018 . . :)

The above painting turns out to be in Sir Robin's own house, he talks about it from ± 8.45 to about 10.28 in another great interview....

Once enabled to crawl into an wall outlet those microdrones can hide and recharge everywhere, provided they use two wires and not one as on the power line at 0:46 in the vid . . .

I've posted the below picture yesterday somewhere else, but since we've recently had a side topic about tall hats here, I like to repost it on this thread . . :)

While we were in high school, my buddies and I repaired an abandoned lifeboat that came off a ship in Galveston. Even got the old manual bilge pump working. Here we are drifting in Galveston Bay. Did not sail very well as there was not much keel and the lug rig was rather awkward. It had four oars but only two are deployed in this photo.

If this one works it can already put two legs in an wall outlet for recharge, maybe under or next to your bed . . .

From the last above link . . .

‘‘ All RAF bombers and reconnaissance aircraft carried pigeons in special watertight baskets and containers and, if the aircraft had to ditch, the plane’s co-ordinates were sent back with the pigeon to its RAF base and a search and rescue operation was effected. Thousands of servicemen’s lives were saved by these heroic birds that flew often in extreme circumstances. ’’

Turns out the above crewman (wireless operator) and the pigeons served on an Avro Lancaster . . .

Make yourself a pot of tea. Maybe pour youself a large whisky. Swirch off your phone. Sit yourself down for twenty minutes. turn the sound up.
