    1.Gawn-Burrel Series Propellers
    2. Kaplan Propellers and their Nozzles.

    Thanks for the time spent.

    Thanks for your information sir.
But I am not intending to procure Marin software.
I shall try to get the design charts from them.

    Again Thanks for your help.

Download my demo-program SeaPower. It comprises Wageningen B series, Gawn-Burrill, Segmental propellers and 5 types of Nozzle props.

    Davor Naval Arch.

From demo program you will see full range of numerical results.
You will get Pitch and Ae/Ao for given diameter, power, number of blades and RPM.

Every series has its standard shape of the blade.

    Geometry!!??

    Dear sir,

First of all let me tell that I downloded your programme, but could not run it.A dialogue box message came and informed that all the files required for running the demo version of this programme are not included in the downloaded data.

I know that I can get the No: of blades, rpm, Pitch, diametre, efficiency, torque coefficient and thrust coefficient from your programme.

But I am interested to know if I can get those details to draw a propeller from your programme output.

    Like (say)

First I have to draw the generator line of propeller, then I have to plot the blade width towards leading and trailing edges. For this I require offsets.

So also offsets are required for each blade sections.

If Kort Nozzle is there, then the geometric parametres to draw that is also required.

Shall I get all these offsets from your programme?

That is what I want to know.

    Bye, thanks.

    Davor Naval Arch.

    Sir,

Program can run on windows XP or Win 2000 operating systems (as indicated on web page).

Regarding drawings, they are not incuded. The aim of the program is estimation of power and propeller calculation only.

    Drawings are not included.

Please let me know if you mannaged to run the program.

    Hello Sir,

My system is windows 2000 Professional.
Still I can't run the programme.
It displays run time error 53,
    and then closes the programme.

I can open the page with variour options for resistance , propusion etc.
And also go to the page for resistance propulsion etc. But for the page on resistance, I cannot input the values for LWL, b, t etc.

But prema facie I would tell you that I liked the programme very much.It shall be of great use to us when we quote for tenders after initial deqsign.

    Thanks
