Rob didn't "jump in". I suggested the Harryproa it as an option for the Sarah, because like other posters, I realise what a complete nightmare big glass and ply cat projects are.

Sailhand has been there too "Hi mcp don't let the name "easy" fool you, nothing could be further from the truth. I have known several of these builds and the experience has been , shall we say less than rewarding. The resale on these vessels in australia is far lower than the cost of materials. "

Rob then very kindly expanded on the points I made, because James didnt even to bother to read the links, or the Intelligent Infusion explanation.

What Rob did not say is that the "Intelligent Infusion" methodology has come about after initial projects involving Derek Kelsall's input ( the King of Easy Build Multihulls) and a lot of actual re-development on real hulls.

This is no "instant magic formula", its a well researched, super innovative way to get a decent sized multihull on the water without the sweat, itch and angst of the traditional ply/glass method.
