Boat design with movable (up/down) prop shaft??

    17' boat and 17hp air cooled motor and not sure of the shaft.
    This will be a test boat for this configuration then use this setup in a bigger one.
    I was thinking a pivot at the transom as well but haven't gotten that far.

    I have never seen this setup-Thanks.

    I was thinking the same basically and using a tunnel to raise the prop/lower and in the up position the prop would be in the tunnel. This is a nice setup.
