Thanks for the link Angélique. Mount Baker is very close. 58 miles close.

Humm, from Orcas Island center to Mt Baker's northeast side ski area is 106 mi by car, but edge to edge as the crow flies . . ?

For shorter to Mt Baker, my guess is Lummi Island...

I wonder about the ‘‘sunday’’ hint, it brought me nice pictures though, but I seem to get further from the spot, so someone else take the next turn to find it please . . :)

Perhaps we should move the quest to the "Where is This" thread.

It makes me think of this story... Mysteries of the Garden Tomb

For me it's running fine here as an aside on the ‘‘Random Picture Thread’’, so I suggest to keep it here, after all it are random pictures, and maybe we get help here from a new audience till it's solved, and then post the next one on the ‘‘Where is This?’’ thread. I saw you've posted a link there to this one, so the regulars will find it. :)

That's just west of Orcas, so a bit further from Mt Baker which doesn't seem correct, but it can be checked for the skull anyway . . :)
