In my quest to keep close tabs on my new motor, I'm installing the Sierra Audio Alarm system (Sierra Part #MP41400) in place of a Mercruiser factory unit.

I assume that I can leverage the Mercruiser factory harness tan/blue wire by connecting that to one terminal, and a key'd 12V source (Purple Wire)?

    Anyone disagree?

Well... in case anyone wanted to know. Yes, it works.
