How do you plot heeling arms in maxsurf stability?

    i want to plot a defined wind heeling arm on top of GZ curve. How do you do it?

    There is no way, as far as I know. You must manually calculate the intersection point, if I remember correctly.

    so what is the parent heeling arm in the criteria for ? i tried using that but no heeling arm showed up in the graph

    I do not know what the parent criteria is, nor do I think that matters much. What I am saying is that, on the one hand you have the values of the GZ calculated by Maxsurf and on the other hand you need to calculate the ones of the heeling arms curve, and determine in which value of the heel both sets of value coincide.

    You can plot it in Maxsurf . Need to choose the criteria and correctly input the values.
