Can 316 and bronze be used along with aluminum in a boat.

I don't know much about galvanics; just that the more metals you add on the boat the poorer.

So my beam straps are going to be 316 and separated with neoprene from the aluminum mast(beam).

Any general advice would be good.

I haven't kept a boat in the water, but this boat will, so I will have the zincs on the engines.

Do not use Bronze with aluminium. It'll eat the ally.

I seem to recall that back in the day, bronze props were an option on Mercury outboards, maybe in fresh water they got away with it.

I had a few chunks of 1944 bronze I was going to use. I'll skip it and get more 316. Thanks AH.
