So I was stuck buying resin from the local boatyard today for a quick project I was doing . Turned out not so quick . There's no mix ratio on the can ! All the charts I find are a little different. I have to mix in small batches sometimes in 2 OZs. So does this look right ? It's one I found at Jamestown distributors

It says 1-2%, which is pretty standard, much depends on ambient temperature, as to which end of that range, the cooler the conditions, requires more catalyst, and whether you are working in direct sunlight will have an effect as well. How much is mixed also comes into play, it will go off much more quickly in the pot, than thinly spread.

Well I made a little test before I used it on my part . Went with 18
I made a test batch before I used it on my part. The chart that I found earlier said 18 drops for 2 OZs I'm starting to think that may be too low but it hasn't been long enough to find out yet

I would reckon 1% might be about enough, in your present summer conditions.

This is what I use- 60 to 65 degrees 3 %, 65 to 70 2.5%, 70 to 75 2%, 75 to 80 1.5%. I only go to 1% at 85 or above or if I’m doing a large panel or an intricate piece and need a little more pot time. Ditch the oz’s and drop crap. Use milliliters its easier to do the ratio math. 100 ml at 1.5% is 1.5ml MEPK etc.

It pisses me off when manufacturers combine US and metric measurements. I.e. 1 quart add 10 to 20cc’s. What the hell ratio is that? Break out the conversation app.
